Thailand, especially Bangkok is a great venue and attraction for the Swedish golfers, especially the Bachelor Boys who look forward to a trip into the Far East during the sunny weather. They look forward to spending a few days of enjoying the hot climate, bouts of drinking, unlimited supply of food, great hotel accommodations and off course super golfing experiences in Thailand.
We are talking about the much envied Swedish Bachelor Boys Midsummer Cup event, which takes place in between May and June each year, with an enviable participation of up to approximately 100 bachelor boy golfers and their partners. They look forward to a great time in Thailand, specifically Bangkok where they return each year for the event, mostly held at the Bangkok Golf Club while staying at the Tinidee Hotel@Bangkok Golf Club

The basic itinerary for these eager competitive young gentlemen would be a round of golf each morning over the course of a few days, playing 1 hole followed by rounds of free flow drinking from wines, to beers and brandy all nicely chilled and brilliant for a hot day, especially in the late mornings which would extend to the late afternoons. Lunch is catered with their own special Swedish chefs to provide trays of Swedish delicacies from appetizers to main courses and desserts.
Each golfer will have their own personal caddies and buggies during the course of their golfing event. The event is not so much as a “Who will win” competition but an opportunity for these men to enjoy the great golfing greens while indulging in drinks, networking and to enjoy food from home over a few days.
