Reprieve has come for Pattaya’s nearly battered and bruised tourism sector ever since the COVID-19 pandemic during the 4 day-long holidays since Friday 4th September to Monday 7th September which are the replacement days for the previously cancelled Songkran festival. According to the Pattaya news, the city was seen to be bustling over the weekend with life seemingly breathed back into the entertainment sector, beaches and the food scenery of the city with many domestic tourists flocking to the city’s attractions and bringing much-needed revenue. With a sign of tourism returning, the city can hopefully return to some semblance of normalcy after the devastating COVID-19 pandemic that completely decimated its tourism industry.
